What Is Videofire?
The core reason Videofire was created was to enable Live Stream Automation for YouTube Live Events.
There are several plugins, softwares, and solutions for quickly scaling with SEO (search engine optimization) when it comes to blogging but before Videofire there weren’t really any solid solutions for helping marketers scale with YouTube videos.
So, Videofire gives you an unfair video marketing advantage.
The major features of Videofire include:
- Cloud Based – Nothing to download or install. Everything runs in the cloud.
- Multi Channel – Stream your videos to multiple accounts at the same time.
- Cost Effective – The power of thousands of virtual assistants for a fraction of the price.
- High Definition – Stream your videos in full 1080p with no lag or loss in quality, unlike most other live stream solutions.
How To Use Videofire?
Once you create an account and select a plan you will be taken to the dashboard.
To the top right of the interface, if you click the profile icon, there will be a dropdown menu with your Settings.
If you select the Your Settings option this will take you to a page where you will be able to manage your Profile Photo and Contact Information as well as manage your Subscription and Payment Method.
The other option on the Settings menu is Broadcast Accounts.
When you click this option you will be taken to a page where you will be able to connect your YouTube accounts to Videofire.
Going back to the dashboard, it’s very easy to setup your first campaign.
Click the Create Campaign button and you willll be prompted to enter a campaign name then click the Start button.
Next, you will either select a YouTube account that you’ve already connected to Videofire or if you haven’t already added any you can click the Connect to YouTube button.
Once you’re done with this step click the Save button.
Adding Titles, Descriptions, and Tags
The next section is Edit Content.
Here you will enter your Titles and Descriptions as well as Tags for the videos you want to stream.
To add more than one Title and Description click the plus button.
If you have a long list of Titles and Descriptions you can bulk add them using the Import CSV button.
For a CSV template for how to format your file click the question mark icon to the right.
In this step you can also make the Privacy of your videos Public or Private by clicking the toggle button at the top left.
When adding Tags, click the Tab or Comma button to add another tag.
After you are done with this step click the Save button.
Scheduling Your Campaign
The next section is Schedule Start Time.
This is where you will be able to schedule when your videos will be published.
For instance, if you had 10 Titles and Descriptions and decided to schedule the wait time between each video for 15 minutes, then Videofire would stream the video you select in the next step for each Title in your list 15 minutes apart until the entire list was complete.
Once you select your amount of time to wait between next stream click the Save button.
Selecting Your Video Content
The Stream section is next and is where you will select your Prestream video, Main Content video, and Endstream video.
The Prestream will stream before the Main Content video and the Endstream video will stream after the main video, all of which will be sandwiched together into one seamless stream.
For the Prestream and Endstream videos you can either select one of the default templates or upload custom content.
The maximum length for both Pre and Endstream content is 60 seconds and if you’re creating custom Pre and Endstreams it’s a best practice to make each of these a single slide that is 60 seconds in length, since some of clip may get cut off.
For your main content video you can either select one of your previously uploaded videos from the Choose Videos dropdown menu or use the Upload More button to upload a new video.
Once you’re done with this step click the Save button.
Using Custom Thumbnails
The next section is where you will add your Thumbnail.
You don’t have to upload a custom thumbnail but if you choose to click the Upload button and then the Save button once you’re done.
Reviewing And Publishing Your Campaign
Once you’ve completed all the sections above click the Review button and you will be taken to the next page where you can review your campaign and make sure everything is correct.
If you need to change something you can click the Edit button.
Otherwise, if everything looks good, click the Publish button and Videofire will launch your campaign.
Other Features Of Videofire
Now, if you return to your dashboard I want to highlight a few other sections.
After a campaign is created, if you want to easily duplicate it, you can click the Clone button to the right of the campaign name.
However, when duplicating a campaign you will need to change out the main content video because otherwise everything will be copied and streamed exactly the same as the original campaign which means you will likely encounter duplicate content errors from YouTube.
Then at the top left you have a few options.
If you click the Campaigns link you can either view all your Campaigns by selecting All Campaigns or you can create a new campaign by clicking Create Campaign.
To the right of the Campaigns menu you have Events.
If you click this it will list all of the Campaigns that have been scheduled and completed.
And last you have the Media menu.
Media is broken into video content and thumbnails.
If you select All Videos this will take you to a page where you can see and add video assets (Main Content, Prestream and Endstream) to Videofire.
The other option under the Media menu is All Thumbnails, which takes you to a page where you can add, view, and delete custom thumbnails.
Lastly, the Search for Campaign field to the right of the Media menu will allow you to quickly find campaigns you’ve created by typing in the name of that campaign into the search box.
That pretty much sums up why Videofire was created and the main features of the software.
